The Verge is reporting that the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Nexus smartphone will be coming to Verizon tomorrow, December 15th. For $299.99 and a 2 year contract, you can get your hands on the latest Android smartphone running the new Ice Cream Sandwich OS on Verizon’s LTE network. Invitations from Samsung and Google were sent out yesterday for their newly reschedule Android event. The event was set to take place this past Tuesday, but was rescheduled out of respect for the death of Apple founder, Steve Jobs. It appears one lucky eBay shopper was given an early preview of Google’s unreleased Ice Cream Sandwich operating system for Android phones. The eBayer bought what he thought was a brand new Google Nexus S phone running Gingerbread, but, instead, what he got was real treat… an Ice Cream Sandwich OS.
