As if there weren’t enough variations of the Samsung Galaxy Tab lineup, Samsung has revamped their 7-inch Galaxy Tab tablet computer with a faster processor, more RAM, a higher megapixel camera, and much more. The tablet will run the latest version of Android with version 3.2 (Honeycomb), and you can expect to see it sometime this fall. BlackBerry PlayBook Review [Video]
The name “PlayBook” is interesting considering where it comes from (hint: it’s a sports metaphor). The Playbook is RIM’s latest attempt at market viability. This BlackBerry tablet, while enterprise friendly, is trying to gain a foothold in the consumer tablet mountain with their eyes on the summit currently held by Apple. Although the idea of “play” is not something that comes to mind when looking over RIM’s earlier domination of enterprise markets, this concept might get them where they want to be and rescue some of their lost market share from the mountain peak. Galaxy Tab Jumps on Major US Cell Carriers
Samsung’s Galaxy Tab was first revealed back in the beginning of June. It’s come a long way since then. Yesterday Samsung announced that it’s Galaxy Tab was coming to the Big Four: AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile. For all you Sprint customers, that 4G network your carrier boasts about will not be enabled on the Galaxy Tab.
