If you are like me, you are on Xbox Live pretty consistently, and while the standard headset offered by Microsoft does the job, it still doesn’t sound or work that well. You are still tied down, to the controller at least,  by a wire. Initially, Microsoft and Xbox offered a wireless alternative, and I used mine faithfully for over 3 years. Now Microsoft offers a new alternative to their popular wireless headset. New Xbox 360 Dashboard (and More) Released Today

Starting December 6th and the coming months, Microsoft’s Xbox 360 will be getting extensive upgrades to its dashboard via live updates. Besides a new design that’s similar to the rest of the Windows product line, new content options will start to show up in these updates. Machinarium Keeps You Clicking

From game development company Amanita Design comes Machinarium, a Mac, PC, and Linux game that launched back in late 2009. But finally! It’s now available for your gaming pleasure in the Mac App Store. I don’t usually play games like Machinarium, but the look and feel of the game intrigued me. There was just something about this game that draws you in and leaves you wanting to know more. It’s Tim Burton-esque visual style and gameplay won it a few gaming awards including Kotaku‘s PC Game of the Year 2009 Runner-up award. Continue reading →
